気さくなオーナー夫婦と5歳と2歳のお子さんがいるご家族です。

今の家から新しい家に引っ越す予定であり、引っ越し後の8/18以降で入居募集しています。
家はリノベーションされており新しく、オウンルーム&バスルームになります。立地も家の前にバス停がありCBDへのアクセスも良いです。

Our Japanese flatmate is leaving us to spend the last month of her working holiday visa with friends and sightseeing NZ, before going back to her home. We will dearly miss her. This coincided with us moving to a new and bigger house, so you will be with us in our new home as well. It is an upgrade to where we were living, but we will keep the rent for the flatmate the same, because we know to make it financially suitable for open work holiday visa visitors.
For rent is a good-sized double bedroom in a great location. The room has a window and the house has a new carpet, and fully renovated. The room also has an internal wardrobe. The house has double-glaze windows, and two renovated full bathrooms. Also, just under the house is a bus stop in Taranaki street, and it is 10 minutes' walk to Cuba street. The house is sunny, and we will be buying full furniture, including furnishing the flatmate's room. So as a flatmate you should only bring your bags. The apartment also has an unlimited fibre internet connection.

This place would be ideal for a female professional who would appreciate the size of the room, its modern kitchen, and would utilise the location for their work. We could also consider a responsible full-time student. However, after living for two years with Japanese people, we want to start by advertising the place on a Japanese website, because we appreciate the positive energy, cleanness, and way of living that suits our family. We truly appreciated every single Japanese person who lived with us, and they added a lot to our lives, despite their unique and different personalities.

About us: We are a full-time professional couple with two kids, 2.5 and 5.5 years old. They go to childcare and school full-time during weekdays. Hence, the reasonable rent and weekly utilities cost. We treat this house as “home” and we expect our potential flatmate to do the same.

We apologise, but we do not invite friends around to the house, as having three adults and two kids makes the place perfect for us all as tenants. We try to meet friends outside, and there are plenty of cafes around. Occasionally, we could invite friends — and you also can, but that is rare, and we inform each other in advance.

Please send us a query and tell us something about yourself, and we can arrange a viewing soon for you. We will move to our new house from Monday 18/August, and the room will be available from then. You are welcome to come and check the house and room by then, or, you can come and visit us here in our current apartment first, if you would like to meet with us even before seeing the place. We are attaching pictures of the house, they are new, but the house will have different furniture.
