New Zealand's largest anime and manga convention returns to the NZICC in downtown Auckland on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September.

This year's guest line-up is led by Overlord novelist Kugane Maruyama, appearing alongside his KADOKAWA editor and animation producer for a joint panel and signing session — a rare chance to meet the creative team behind one of Japan's biggest light novel series.

Also appearing are Japan-based concept-art photographer mit, whose exhibition The Quiet Anatomy of Devotion runs across both days, Korean webtoon artist ORKA, and performer Ladybeard, plus cosplay competitions, a live online Q&A with The Apothecary Diaries author Hyuganatsu, and a two-day artist market where hundreds of New Zealand illustrators and creators sell original art, prints and handmade goods.
